IEF MICRO-GRANT RECEIPIENT
Crystal Wood & Leha Marshall | Woman Business Owner Micro-grant
Crystal Wood & Leha Marshall, Founder, U Grow Girl Social Enterprise (CCC) Inc.
Created by survivors Crystal Wood and Leha Marshall, U Grow Girl stands as a powerful force in the realm of social enterprise, passionately dedicated to supporting women who have endured the unimaginable trauma of child sexual abuse. At the heart of our mission is the transformative ‘Time To Heal’ retreat, offered entirely free to survivors. This sanctuary of recovery and empowerment is made possible not just by our commitment, but by every individual who chooses to engage with our business.
U Grow Girl is a Community Contribution Company (CCC), where 60% of its profits are dedicated to funding their Time to Heal retreat. Our unique funding model is a testament to the power of conscious consumerism. Each purchase of our sustainable, locally-sourced floral, and healing inspired artisan goods, isn’t just a transaction – it’s an active participation in a larger mission.
By choosing U Grow Girl, you are not just buying a product; you are joining a movement. A movement that champions resilience, fosters recovery, and celebrates the courage of every survivor we support. Our business is more than a brand; it’s a promise of hope and empowerment. With every purchase, you contribute to positive change, helping us to turn the tide of trauma into a wave of healing, because at U Grow Girl, we believe that it’s finally #Time To Heal.
