The winner of the 2021 CANIE Product Innovation Award is Alisha McFetridge, Chief Executive Officer of RainStick.

In 2019, Alisha’s team invented RainStick Shower – a WiFi-enabled shower system that not only saves up 80% energy and 80% water, and is low maintenance, but also increases the flow rate by 2X compared to a traditional shower.

RainStick began because they loved long, hot showers but felt guilty about wasting water. So they started to re-imagine status-quo and the way that people showered.
