Stephanie Leithead is a neurodivergent woman, clinical counsellor, social justice advocate, and entrepreneur. Stephanie has been in Canada\u2019s north for over 10 years working with survivors of Indian Residential School and their families, Families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls +, rural indigenous northern communities, and community organizations.<\/p>\n

Stephanie is the founder and director of Aurora Wellness Group Ltd., a social enterprise located in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Stephanie and her team take a feminist, anti-oppressive approach to counselling and are actively reducing barriers to mental health services. They specialize in supporting marginalized and oppressed communities, with a focus on system change and strengthening community connections. Aurora Wellness Group prides itself in being a diverse, inclusive practice that provides accessible, professional and respectful mental health support.<\/p>\n
